"Honestly, finding these unreached peoples is no easy task.

The information we rely on is often outdated or incorrect—sometimes the location is wrong; sometimes the group has moved; and sometimes, they’ve simply disappeared. We frequently spend half a day driving from village to village, asking everyone we meet, only to learn that the people we’re searching for left long ago. Yet, every “fruitless” journey deepens our understanding of the Lord’s heart for His lost sheep."

RELATIONAL -

ON-THE-GROUND IMPACT

With monthly field trips across dozens of villages, The Quest builds real friendships, establishes trust, shares the Gospel through story and life, and prepares pathways for entire communities to encounter Christ.

72 ETHNIC GROUPS

Sending national workers in East Asia to 72 of the most unreached and unengaged ethnic groups, locating Houses of Peace, and building first-contact relationships with those who have never heard the Gospel.

STRATEGIC LONG-TERM

CHURCH PLANTING

From discovery to discipleship to indigenous leadership—we work toward planting churches that can stand, grow, and multiply even under persecution.

 ABOUT THE QUEST

The Quest is our frontline mission to reach hidden, unreached, and unengaged people groups scattered throughout the foothills of the Himalayan mountains and beyond.

Across remote valleys, rugged mountain roads, and villages untouched by the Gospel, our teams travel regularly to find families or people of peace—the key relationships God prepares that open the door for the Good News.

The journey begins with sending and going:

  • Locating isolated communities

  • Learning their culture.

  • Earning trust through genuine friendship.

Many of these groups have never heard the name of Jesus, have no church among them, and have remained spiritually untouched for generations.

Once trust forms, we return again and again—sharing meals, listening to stories, offering help, and introducing the hope of Christ. Over time, these relationships grow deeper, small Bible discussions begin inside “Homes of Peace,” and the first sparks of discipleship take root.

 PIONEERING STRATEGY

 Preparing for the Battle Ahead

After locating a village, we don't rush in immediately. Instead, we first do a prayer walk around the village. When we see temples or sacrificial sites, we stop to pray. This isn't for show—it's genuinely necessary because the spiritual warfare ahead is real.

 Finding God’s Prepared People

Our reasons for entering villages are simple: cultural research, rural tourism, or sometimes just asking for directions. From there, we begin talking to people one by one, seeking those whom God has prepared as persons of peace.

Honestly, most reactions are discouraging. Many ignore us completely and walk away; some look at us coldly; and others challenge us directly: “Why have you come to such a remote place?” “Are you really tourists?” “What exactly are you doing?”

But thank God, there are always a few willing to engage. Sometimes, when a conversation goes well, they’ll invite us: “Come to my house for tea!” or even welcome us in for a meal.

 Friendship First

When we sense the Holy Spirit moving and someone shows genuine hunger and trust, we directly ask,

“Would you like to believe in Jesus?” These moments are rare, but we treat them with the utmost seriousness.

More often, we focus on building friendships first. We genuinely say, “Come visit us in the big city!” or “If you come to the city for medical care or your children’s education, definitely contact us—you’re welcome to stay in our home!” This isn’t just politeness—we truly mean it.
